- You need 3/4 cup of Ketchup.
- Prepare 3/4 cup of Vegetable Oil.
- It's 1 pinch of Salt.
- You need 1 pinch of Pepper.
- You need 2 tsp of Paprika.
- You need 1 of Green Onions.
- It's 1/2 of Green Pepper.
- You need 1/2 each of Red Pepper.
Gypsy Sauce for Wienerschitzel step by step
- Heat small sauce pan.
- Add ketchup and oil and heat.
- Begin to add paprika in small increments to taste.
- Add peppers..slice peppers in long, narrow strips.
- Add green oinions.
- Cook and either add more paprika, salt,pepper to taste.
- Heat and stir till sauce bubbles slightly.
- Serve on top of wienerschitzel or on side...this is good for breaded pork chops too and with other meats..
- Basically I just alternate adding small amounts of either ketchup or oil to suit our tastes. We love this and so do our friends. People are always asking me to make this for dinners and parties.
