  1. Prepare 250 grams of unsweetened chocolate.
  2. Prepare 55 grams of cocoa powder (unsweetened).
  3. It's 250 grams of granulated sugar.
  4. Prepare 140 grams of unsalted butter.
  5. It's 3 large of eggs.
  6. It's 3 grams of salt.
  7. You need 160 grams of all-purpose flour.
  8. Prepare 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
  9. It's 70 grams of chopped walnuts.

European Brownies step by step

  1. Melt butter and chocolate together in a bain-marie (double saucepan), remove from heat.
  2. Add cocoa powder and stir to avoid lumps, allow to cool.
  3. In a bowl beat eggs together with sugar, salt and vanilla extract.
  4. Now slowly add flour (to this last eggs+sugar+salt mix) and keep stirring.
  5. Add also melted chocolate and butter to the same bowl.
  6. When the mixture is homogenous add walnuts.
  7. Line a square baking pan with parchment paper and grease it.
  8. Put your homemade mix in the pan and cook for 35 minutes at 180°C.
  9. Let the brownie rest for an hour then take it out of the pan and cut in squares!.
